Curatorial Note

Set against a simmering red field, stitched yellow figures enact a condensed human chronicle of movement, intimacy, struggle, celebration, and reckoning. Their dotted contours recall hand-sewn memory—bodies not simply drawn, but assembled, mended, and carried forward through time. Love is presented without embellishment; labor and vulnerability appear plainly, stripped of sentimentality yet rich with presence.

Mushroom-like forms and wandering lines introduce suggestions of transformation and altered perception, while a dominant figure, arms raised in triumph or invocation, anchors the composition. Nearby, tally marks quietly accumulate, registering time, loss, endurance, or survival. Resisting linear narration, the work favors communal simultaneity, holding multiple moments in balance—exuberance tempered by quiet accounting.
